Dear esteemed teachers and members of the School Board and the School Management Board;

Dear esteemed professors and lecturers who are leaders of faculties, institutes, and centers; and dear professors, lecturers, and staff at Dai Nam University;

Distinguished delegates, esteemed guests;

Dear parents;

To all the new graduates of the K17 class!

My name is Doan Thien My, a student in class QHCC1701, Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University.

Today, in the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the Graduation Ceremony, I am deeply honored to represent the graduating class of K17 and share a few words of gratitude and appreciation with our esteemed teachers and parents.

Three years ago, we walked through the gates of Dai Nam University with the mixed feelings of apprehension and excitement of being eighteen. Some were away from home for the first time, some carried big dreams, and some were still uncertain about their future. At that time, three years seemed incredibly long. Yet today, looking back on the journey, we realize that we have not only grown with time but also matured through every lesson, every experience, and even every failure.

Dai Nam University has given us not only the lessons in the curriculum but also created an environment where we could test ourselves, make mistakes, learn from them, and grow. One day we may not remember all the knowledge we've learned, but we will certainly always remember the values that our teachers at Dai Nam University have instilled in us: gratitude, kindness, a sense of responsibility, a relentless drive to improve, and a desire to contribute to the community. These are the most precious assets we will carry with us on our journey ahead.

On behalf of all the graduating students of the K17 cohort, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to the University Council, the University's Board of Directors, and all the esteemed teachers of Dai Nam University. Thank you for your dedication, love, care, and companionship throughout the past three years. You have not only imparted knowledge to us but also taught us how to be good people, how to live virtuously, how to face failure, and how to maintain self-belief. These are the most precious gifts we have been fortunate enough to receive under the roof of Dai Nam University.

And today, allow me to dedicate these heartfelt words to those who have always stood behind us every step of our journey to adulthood.

Mom and Dad...

If someone were to ask us today who this diploma belongs to, we would probably smile and say: the diploma is in our names, but the credit goes to our parents.

There are loves in this world that are never spoken aloud, yet they stay with us throughout our lives. It's Mom, who every time she calls, always asks the same familiar question: "When are you coming home? " It's Dad, who never says sweet words, but his first question is always: "Do you have any money left? " It's the morning I left my hometown for Hanoi to start university, Mom silently pacing back and forth between the kitchen and my backpack, adding a few boxes of milk, some biscuits, a little fruit, worrying that I might lack medicine or warm clothes. At that time, we only noticed the backpack was a little heavier. Only when we lived far from home did we understand that what Mom sent wasn't just food, but the worry, love, and longing of a mother.

There are fathers who never say, "I love you," but silently work a little harder, save a little more, sacrifice a little more, just so their children can have another semester, another book, another chance to pursue their dreams. Behind every step we take are the silent footsteps of our parents. We didn't get to where we are today on our own. We stand on our parents' shoulders to see wider horizons, to reach places they may never have had the chance to go. It is our parents who have given wings to our dreams, so that today we can proudly stand here, reaping the rewards of years of hard work and study.

There is a line of poetry that we only truly understand today:

There are places we go

Dad has never been there.

The delicious dishes we tasted,

Mom doesn't know what it tastes like.

Today, before our esteemed teachers, friends, and everyone present at this ceremony, allow us to offer our apologies, which we may have kept hidden in our hearts for a long time. We apologize for our thoughtlessness, for being so preoccupied with our youthful ambitions that we forgot our parents' calls. We apologize for sometimes making our parents sad with our thoughtless words. And most of all, we thank our parents for dedicating their youth to nurturing our dreams. Thank you for always believing in us, even when we doubted ourselves. If there were a more meaningful gift than this graduation certificate today, it would be the smiles and pride on our parents' faces.

Besides our families and teachers, we also want to express our gratitude to our friends who shared the memories of our youth at Dai Nam University. Thank you for studying together, staying up late to complete assignments, projects, and theses; for encouraging each other after setbacks, and for sharing the joy of every small success. Perhaps after today, each of us will walk a different path, but I believe that the memories of our youth at Dai Nam University will forever remain a beautiful part of our hearts.

And after all, perhaps today we should also thank ourselves. Thank you to the boys and girls of the K17 cohort for not giving up. Thank you for daring to step out of your comfort zone, daring to dream, daring to choose, and bravely pursuing your goals to the very end. There were times when the pressure was so great that we felt we couldn't go on, times when failures made us doubt ourselves, but we all persevered to be here today. The most commendable thing is not just the degree in our hands, but the person we have become after three years of relentless effort. We are more confident and mature than when we first entered the lecture hall.

Finally, I would like to wish all the teachers good health so that they can continue to guide the next generations of students. I wish all the parents good health, happiness, and that they will always be a strong support for us.

I wish all of you graduating today to always keep the flame of youth in your hearts, carrying with you knowledge, courage, aspirations, and gratitude to confidently continue writing your journey ahead.

Even though we may each go our separate ways in the future, we will always be proud to say: "I am an alumnus of Dai Nam University."

Youth will eventually come to an end, but gratitude will last forever. May I carry with me the love of my family, the dedication of my teachers, and the pride in Dai Nam University as I embark on a new chapter in my life.

Thank you very much!
