As businesses operate on data platforms, artificial intelligence, and digital technology, the role of managers fundamentally changes. They need not only experience but also digital thinking, the ability to analyze and make data-driven decisions. Based on this reality, Dai Nam University has developed and evaluated the Smart MBA program – a strategic step to create a generation of managers who master data, technology, and decision-making in the digital age.

Management is changing - training cannot stand still.

The digital economy, AI, and Big Data are transforming how businesses organize, operate, and compete. Traditional management models are gradually revealing their limitations, while the need for managers with technological competence, strategic thinking, and adaptability is becoming increasingly evident. The Smart MBA program was created as a response: to train managers who know how to leverage technology to solve practical problems.

Pioneering approach: Smart business management in the AI era.

Beyond simply updating knowledge, the program focuses on integrating digital technology, artificial intelligence, and big data into all training content. Learners gain access to modern management tools and models, thereby optimizing resources, improving operational efficiency, and making quick and accurate decisions in a volatile business environment.

Training "smart" managers for Vietnamese businesses.

The program targets middle and senior management, particularly in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises – the most dynamic sector of the economy. Upon completion, learners will be able to:

- Transforming the business model from traditional to digital.

- Effectively applying technology, AI, and data in management and operations.

- Enhance strategic thinking, leadership skills, and decision-making abilities.

- Modern structure, clear focus

The program is designed around three core pillars:

1. Management thinking – understanding and leading the organization in the new context.

2. Business mindset – seeing opportunities in market fluctuations

3. Applying technology – mastering analytical tools, AI, and Big Data in business operations.

The overarching goal is not "learning for the sake of knowing," but "learning to be able to do." Teaching is practical, with academic foundation. A highlight of the program is the teaching staff, who harmoniously combine academic and practical skills.

Approximately 40% of the participants are CEOs, experts, and business leaders acting as "mentors," guiding students through a 1:10 and 1:1 mentoring model. The remaining 60% are experienced instructors, ensuring the academic depth and scientific foundation of the program.

Rigorous assessment – commitment to long-term quality

The program undergoes a comprehensive evaluation regarding its relevance, interdisciplinary nature, applicability, and suitability to the needs of high-quality human resources. The evaluation council comprises scientists, education experts, business representatives, and management agencies, ensuring objectivity, scientific rigor, and practicality.

The insightful feedback from the evaluation process forms a crucial foundation for the School to further refine the program structure, course content, teaching methods, assessment, and learning outcomes, all aligned with an application-oriented approach. This is essential preparation to ensure the program is ready for implementation with the highest quality.

Affirming the brand of postgraduate training at Dai Nam University

With its "learning by doing" approach, the Smart MBA program not only opens up a new learning option but also affirms Dai Nam University's long-term vision in training high-quality management human resources. These are managers who can master technology, adapt quickly, and lead businesses to sustainable development in the digital economy era.
