With a total value of up to 55 billion VND, the Dai Nam University's 2026-2027 academic year scholarship fund offers 13 diverse scholarship programs for new students of the K20 cohort. With the desire to support new students from their very first days at university, Dai Nam University officially announces a scholarship and financial support fund worth 55 billion VND for new students of the K20 cohort in the 2026-2027 academic year, comprising 13 scholarship programs with various levels of support for different groups of students. This policy is issued under Decision No. 368/QD-DN.

For the 2026 admissions season, Dai Nam University is expanding its training scale to 56 programs across 6 fields: Health, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Business, Social Sciences and Humanities, Fine Arts - Design, etc., with 13 diverse scholarship policies to provide maximum support for new students in all majors.

1. Talent Scholarship

Scholarships are available for new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who achieve high results in academic competitions and science and technology competitions at the provincial/city level or higher.

The scholarship value includes:

1.1. Full scholarship (100% tuition fee for the entire course) with the following benefits if approved by the interview panel:

- Living allowance of 120 million VND/year (total value ranging from 360 million to 720 million VND, depending on the training duration for each major).
- Comprehensive support for living expenses (food and accommodation) for students. Number of scholarships: 10 (A larger number will be considered by the School Board).

For new students who meet one of the following criteria:

- Having won first, second, third, or honorable mention prizes in national-level excellent student competitions or national-level science, technology, and engineering competitions throughout their high school years, and having a subject in which they won a prize included in the subject combination for admission to the corresponding major at Dai Nam University.
- Applicants must have a certificate of participation in international competitions recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training or approved by the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University at the high school level (no more than 3 years prior) and the subject in which they won an award must be included in the subject combination for admission to the corresponding major at Dai Nam University.

1.2. Partial scholarship (50% of tuition fees for the entire course)

For new students who meet one of the following criteria:

- Must have a certificate of participation in the National Excellent Student Examination or the National Science and Technology Competition throughout their high school years, and the subjects participated in must be included in the subject combination for admission to the corresponding major at Dai Nam University.
- Winning first, second, or third prize in the Provincial/City-level Excellent Student Examination or Olympic Examination or the Provincial/City-level Science and Technology Competition throughout high school, with the subject in which the prize was won included in the subject combination for admission to the corresponding major at Dai Nam University.

Scholarship maintenance requirements : The scholarship is awarded per semester (starting from the second semester of the first year onwards) if the student achieves a conduct score of 80 or higher and a scholarship GPA (including overall academic GPA + reward points) of 8.0/10 or higher. If a student does not meet the scholarship maintenance requirements, from that semester onwards, they will only be considered for the University's academic achievement scholarship.

Scholarship Awarding Time and Method: Scholarships are awarded at the end of each semester and renewed at the beginning of the next semester if the eligibility requirements are met.

2. Talent Encouragement Scholarship

Scholarships are available for new full-time students admitted in the 2026 cohort through the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions software who achieve high university entrance exam scores.

Scholarship value: 50% - 100% of tuition fees for the entire course.

New students admitted through all admission methods on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions software, who enroll within the specified time and do not change majors after enrollment, will be considered for scholarships based on their total score in the 3 subjects of the 2026 high school graduation exam according to the school's admission combination (excluding regional and preferential treatment points), specifically:

Scholarships are awarded on a semester-by-semester basis (starting from the second semester of the first year onwards) if students achieve a conduct score of 80 or higher and a scholarship GPA (including overall academic GPA + reward points) of 8.0/10 or higher. If a student does not meet the scholarship maintenance requirements, from that semester onwards, they will only be considered for the university's academic achievement scholarship.

Scholarship Awarding Time and Method : Scholarships are awarded at the end of each semester and renewed at the beginning of the next semester if the eligibility requirements are met.

3. Education Scholarships

Scholarship value: 10% of the total tuition fee for the entire course.

The Education Scholarship is for new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who are children or siblings of officials, teachers, and staff working at the Ministry of Education and Training, Departments of Education and Training, District Education and Training Offices, High Schools, Middle Schools, and Primary Schools nationwide (excluding new students in Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing) who have signed labor contracts and contributed to social insurance for 6 months or more.

The conditions for maintaining and the timing of scholarship awarding are in accordance with the School's regulations.

The 55 billion VND scholarship fund provides motivation and minimizes financial pressure for candidates and parents.

4. Support Scholarship

Scholarship value: 20% of the total tuition fee for the entire course.

For new students from disadvantaged backgrounds, including:
- Orphaned by either parent and belonging to a poor or near-poor household according to Decree 07/2021/ND-CP.
- Individuals classified as disabled according to Decree 28/2012/ND-CP must possess a disability certificate and assessment issued by a competent authority.
- Ethnic minorities as defined in Decision 1227/QD-TTg dated July 14, 2021, of the Prime Minister approving the list of ethnic groups still facing many difficulties, with specific difficulties in the period 2021-2025, and classified as poor or near-poor households according to Decree 07/2021/ND-CP.

Scholarship Awarding Time and Method: Scholarships are awarded at the end of each semester and renewed at the beginning of the next semester if the eligibility requirements are met.

5. Military and Police Scholarships

Scholarship value: 10% of the total tuition fee for the entire course.

The scholarship is for new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who have completed military service, police service, or are children or siblings of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force or the Vietnam People's Army, currently serving and receiving salaries according to the regulations of the armed forces at the time of enrollment.

6. Gratitude Scholarship

Scholarship value: 10% of the total tuition fee for the entire course.

This applies to new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who are biological children or grandchildren whose parents, paternal grandparents, or maternal grandparents are martyrs or war invalids of any era at levels 1/4, 2/4, and 3/4.

Scholarship Awarding Time and Method: Scholarships are awarded at the end of each semester and renewed at the beginning of the next semester if the eligibility requirements are met.

7. "Dai Nam People" Scholarship

This offer is for new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who have siblings or parents who have studied or worked at Dai Nam University (in all training programs) or who are the spouse of a lecturer, staff member, or employee currently working at the university.

The scholarship value includes:

• 30% of the total tuition fee is waived for new students whose siblings or parents are working at Dai Nam University, or for students who are the spouse of a lecturer, staff member, or employee working at the university (lecturer, staff member, or employee) with at least one year of official employment at the university.
• A 10% tuition fee reduction for new students who meet one of the following criteria: having a sibling who has studied or is currently studying at Dai Nam University, or having a parent who has studied or is currently studying at Dai Nam University.

Scholarship Awarding Time and Method: Scholarships are awarded at the end of each semester and renewed at the beginning of the next semester if the eligibility requirements are met.

The "Dai Nam People" scholarship provides support of up to 30% of the tuition fee for the entire course.

8. Medical Scholarships

New students admitted to the 2026 regular program in the Health Sciences field (including Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing) who are children or siblings of officials and employees working at the Ministry of Health, Departments of Health, Hospitals, Clinics, Health Stations, Medical Centers, Vaccination Centers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Distribution Companies, Pharmacies, and Drugstores nationwide, and who have signed labor contracts and contributed to social insurance for 6 months or more.

Scholarship value:

- Scholarship of 30,000,000 VND: For new students who are children or siblings of officials and employees working at the Ministry of Health, Departments of Health, Hospitals, Clinics, Health Stations, Vaccination Centers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Distribution Companies, Pharmacies, and Drugstores nationwide, who are admitted and enroll in the Medical program.
- Scholarship of 20,000,000 VND: For new students who are children or siblings of officials or employees working at the Ministry of Health, Departments of Health, Hospitals, Clinics, Health Stations, Vaccination Centers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Distribution Companies, Pharmacies, and Drugstores nationwide, who are admitted and enroll in the Pharmacy or Nursing program.

Scholarship awarding time and method:

But   Medical field: Scholarships are awarded once during the second semester of the first year.

- Pharmacy and Nursing majors: Scholarships are awarded twice a year, in the second and third semesters of the first year.

Medical scholarships are available for new full-time students with relatives working in the healthcare sector, with support up to 30,000,000 VND.

9. Future Financier Scholarship

Scholarship value: 50% of tuition fees for the first semester.

This offer is for new full-time students admitted to the Finance - Banking major in 2026 who are children or siblings of officers or employees currently working at banks, securities companies, insurance companies, or financial companies.

The entire scholarship amount is awarded in a single payment during the second semester of the first year.

10. Corporate Scholarships

This offer is for new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who complete their enrollment procedures (submit all enrollment documents and pay tuition fees) as soon as possible into the Japanese Language major and other majors in the Faculty of Architecture and Construction (Architecture, Construction Engineering, Construction Economics).

Scholarship value: 50% of tuition fees for the first semester.

- This applies to the first 15 students who complete the enrollment procedures for the Faculty of Architecture and Construction (including Architecture, Construction Engineering, or Construction Economics majors).

- This applies to all students who have completed the enrollment process for the Japanese Language major.

Students who transfer from a different major (not included in the list of scholarship-eligible majors) to a scholarship-eligible major after enrollment will not be eligible for the scholarship. Students transferring from a scholarship-eligible major to another major (not included in the list of scholarship-eligible majors) will not receive a scholarship.

Corporate scholarships are available for new students majoring in Japanese Language and the Faculty of Architecture and Construction.

11. English Talent Scholarship

This scholarship is for new full-time students enrolling in 2026 who have completed the enrollment process (submitted all required enrollment documents and paid tuition fees as per regulations) and possess a valid IELTS Academic certificate with a score of 6.5 or higher at the time of application. The university does not recognize online IELTS tests or other English language certificates for this scholarship.

Scholarship value: 50% of tuition fees for the first semester.

The entire scholarship amount is awarded in a single payment during the second semester of the first year.

12. Sports Talent Scholarship

This is for new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who have talent and achievements in the following sports: Football; Basketball; Volleyball; Badminton; Karate; Vovinam; Chess; Athletics; Esports.

The scholarship value includes:
- 100% tuition scholarship for the entire course: Applicable to new students who are athletes on the national team, national youth team, or who have won Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals at national-level sports competitions.
- 50% tuition fee scholarship for the entire course: Applicable to new students who win medals at provincial/city-level sports competitions.
- 10% tuition fee scholarship for the entire course: Applicable to new students who meet the requirements through the sports talent selection round organized by the University.

13. Technology Launchpad Scholarship

This is for new full-time students of the 2026 cohort who have been admitted and enrolled in the Computer Science program.

Scholarship value: 1 laptop per student.

- Each eligible student will be awarded one (1) laptop for study purposes. The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be converted into cash.
- Computer Science students who switch majors or defer their studies in the first semester will not be eligible for the Technology Launchpad scholarship.

Scholarship awarding time: The scholarship will be awarded once, tentatively in the second semester of the first year.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
- Eligible students must submit their scholarship application and relevant documents before the K20 Orientation Day, complete their enrollment process, and pay the full tuition fee for the first semester within 30 days of enrollment.
