Maximum business experience - Core values create a generation of brave and different Logistics students of Dai Nam University

In the learning ecosystem of Dai Nam University (DNU) , “Maximum Business Experience” is identified as one of the 6 core values throughout the training and development process of students. Because learning is only truly complete when combined with practice, knowledge is only sustainable when verified by practice.
Theory only "lives" when implemented in practice.
Especially for Logistics and Supply Chain Management - a field closely linked to global production, trade and operations , learning through business experience becomes even more urgent.
“ Every number, every theory in the lecture hall only truly “lives” when implemented at seaports, airports, warehouses or in transportation coordination rooms …” , Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc - Head of the Faculty of Logistics and International Business, Dai Nam University affirmed.
Therefore, students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Dai Nam University are continuously brought into the "real-life" business environment: from field trips to air cargo terminals, seaports, logistics centers to participating in supply chain operation projects with businesses.
“ Each trip not only provides a clear view of the working process, but also helps students practice professional qualities, observation skills, analysis and situation handling ... ” Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc shared.
The greatest value that students receive after each field trip is not only additional knowledge, but also confidence and career path shaping. They understand better the role of each link in the supply chain, identify the real challenges of the industry and equip themselves with essential career skills: teamwork, project management, time management and improvisation.
Sharing about her experience at Noi Bai ACSV Air Cargo Terminal, Le Anh Hoa - Logistics class 1601 said: “Previously, I only learned about cargo handling procedures through books, but when I witnessed the modern production line and the smooth coordination of departments, I understood the complexity and importance of Logistics. After the trip, I am more confident in my choice of major and feel that I need to make more efforts to become a Logistics expert in the future.”
As for Nguyen Thi Hai Yen - a student of Logistics class 1603, the first field trip left a deep impression: "Hearing experts at the enterprise analyze real-life situations and how they handle them, I realized that I need to learn more soft skills, especially time management and teamwork skills. These are things that cannot be learned through theory alone."
Learning through practice - shortening the gap between "learners" and "doers"
Learning through practice is also a way to shorten the gap between “learners” and “workers”. If the classroom helps students master the theory, then the enterprise is the “open classroom” to verify, adjust and create. That combination creates a generation of Logistics and Supply Chain Management students of Dai Nam University: solid in expertise, rich in experience and ready to integrate into the global labor market.
In the context of the Logistics industry becoming the “backbone” of international trade, the demand for high-quality human resources is increasing. Dai Nam University is proud that the philosophy of “Maximum Business Experience” has been bringing outstanding advantages to students – the advantage of maturity through each experience, of professional qualities tempered by reality, and of a learning journey that is always closely linked to business needs.
For Dai Nam University, each field trip is not only an extracurricular activity, but also a part of a modern, humane and practical training strategy, helping students confidently enter the profession, contributing to the development of businesses and the entire Vietnamese Logistics industry in the period of international integration.
