At Dai Nam University, science and technology (S&T) and innovation (I&T) are considered the driving force for development. Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong added that the School's leaders emphasized: "We cannot expect science without adequate investment. The school prioritizes creating conditions for research groups to have a full environment and facilities, thereby creating valuable scientific products with high practical applications."

DNU ’s Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy places the teaching staff at the center. Along with investing in developing the existing staff, the University continues to attract leading domestic and international experts, promote the formation of interdisciplinary research groups, support postgraduate training and encourage scientific publications according to international standards.
