To commemorate the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2026), Dai Nam University (DNU) chose a quiet, unpretentious yet meaningful way to express its gratitude: directly visiting each faculty and class within the Health Sciences sector to convey thanks, share experiences, and reaffirm its strategic commitment to training healthcare professionals.

This is not only a recognition for those wearing white coats in the lecture halls, but also a consistent message from the School: to train doctors who are not only professionally competent, but also morally upright, mastering technology while never straying from the principle of compassion.

Show your gratitude through your presence, no stage is needed.

A white blouse is more than just professional attire. It's a promise to life, a commitment to human existence.

On the morning of February 27, 2026, the campus of Dai Nam University was devoid of elaborate celebrations or large stages. Instead, Dr. Le Dac Son – Chairman of the University Council, along with the Board of Directors, quietly but respectfully visited each faculty office and classroom in the Health Sciences sector.

Firm handshakes. Sincere greetings. Conversations that were informal but filled with deep understanding and sharing.

Gratitude, sometimes, doesn't need a stage. Just presence is enough. And that presence is how Dai Nam University expresses its appreciation for the people who are silently training the medical professionals of the future.

Health Sciences - a strategic training focus of DNU

The Health Sciences sector is identified as one of the strategic training pillars of Dai Nam University. In the context of artificial intelligence (AI) profoundly changing the face of global medicine, the University is steadfast in its long-term and comprehensive investment orientation: from modern clinical simulation and practice rooms, standard-compliant laboratories, to a close cooperation network with major hospitals and medical facilities.

Alongside this is a training philosophy that is closely linked to practical application, international integration, and mastery of new technologies.

Sharing his thoughts on this special day, Dr. Le Dac Son emphasized that the Health Sciences sector is the core training axis of the University; DNU lecturers and students not only need to be highly skilled and proficient in their fields but also must continuously learn, master AI and new technologies, while maintaining the integrity and ethics of a medical professional.

This message not only reflects the strategic vision but also the school's commitment to society regarding the quality of training and medical ethics of future medical professionals.

It's not just about training excellent doctors, but also about nurturing ethical medical professionals.

At Dai Nam University, training in the health sciences goes beyond simply imparting knowledge or awarding professional degrees. Students are trained to be highly skilled, but above all, they must be strong in character; they must excel professionally, but never forget the importance of compassion.

In every lecture, every practical session, every stressful first night shift, what is imparted is not just technique or procedure. It is courage in the face of human life, composure in the face of difficult decisions, and the habit of placing the patient at the center of all professional choices.

AI can process data faster, and machines can assist in more accurate diagnoses, but no technology can replace the empathy and compassion of a physician.

Representing the faculty and staff of the Health Sciences sector, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh - Head of the Faculty of Medicine, Dai Nam University, shared: "The strong support and commitment from the university leadership is a great source of encouragement for the faculty. Training in the Health Sciences field is a long journey, full of pressure, but also full of pride, because it is the process of shaping future doctors who are competent enough to practice and compassionate enough to care for patients with all their hearts."

Sow today - reap tomorrow.

71 years is a proud tradition of the Vietnamese medical profession. For Dai Nam University, it is also a reminder to continue steadfastly on the difficult but right path: building a generation of modern, integrated doctors who master technology, yet remain humane and compassionate.

Because the most beautiful value of the medical profession lies not in the degree, but in the way a doctor enters a patient's room - with understanding, responsibility, and compassion for humanity.

Teaching children to be good people today is sowing the seeds of peace for society tomorrow. Therefore, the flame of the white coat is not only appreciated – but continues to be passed on, persistently and diligently, starting today.
