Vietnam - China Cultural Exchange Festival DNU 2025: Cultural harmony, connecting the future

Dai Nam University (DNU) has just solemnly organized the Vietnam - China DNU Cultural Exchange Day 2025, a unique cultural - academic activity hosted by the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture. This year's event has special significance as it takes place on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.

This year's festival consists of two main parts:

  1. Ceremony to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China diplomatic relations.
  2. Chinese Drama Competition season 3 with the participation of 10 teams from universities in Hanoi.

Cultural Experience – Friendship Connection

At the central square, students and lecturers experienced Chinese cultural spaces through creative booths such as: displaying "Four Great Classical Novels" and "Four Great Inventions" with bilingual QR codes; calligraphy and Peking Opera mask painting area; traditional food booths with dumplings, milk tea, dimsum... attracting a large number of participants.

The opening ceremony took place solemnly at Lecture Hall 1 with the presence of representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, partner businesses, language experts - lecturers of universities, along with the Board of Directors and students of Dai Nam University.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University emphasized: "Culture is the most sustainable bridge between nations. Through this event, we hope that students will not only learn the language but also understand and appreciate the traditional and modern values of China."

Mr. Trinh Dai Vi - Education Counselor of the Chinese Embassy expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Dai Nam University in organizing creative cultural exchange programs, helping students of the two countries to enhance understanding and cooperation.

The moment of touching and activating the LED screen between Dai Nam University and the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam has become a symbol of the lasting friendship between the two countries.

Chinese Drama Competition Season 3 – Creativity and Emotional Explosion

With the participation of 10 teams from universities, the Chinese Drama Competition Season 3 is an attractive academic playground where students demonstrate their linguistic talents, stage creativity and cultural exchange spirit.

Each performance carries a unique message and color – from heroic historical plays, touching legends to modern stories full of social warnings. Typical examples include:

+ “A Fierce Childhood” by Hanoi University of Industry – a touching story about the loyalty and revolutionary spirit of Vietnamese youth.

+ “Digital Age Prayer” by the University of Foreign Languages – VNU – a comedy with a message of caution against technology scams.

+ “The Legend of the White Snake” by Phenikaa University – a modern, profound version of love, prejudice and forgiveness.

The competition concluded a festival rich in cultural, academic and emotional values. Through this activity, Dai Nam University continues to affirm its role as a dynamic international educational environment, where cultural values intersect and encourage students to become knowledgeable and integrated global citizens.
