The Faculty of Medicine at Dai Nam University participates in developing national professional competency assessment standards.

In the process of standardizing medical training according to national standards, the Faculty of Medicine of Dai Nam University (DNU) continues to affirm its proactive integration spirit and academic responsibility by participating in the workshop "Developing a Test Blueprint for the National Professional Competency Assessment Examination" – a professional forum bringing together experts, managers, and representatives from many medical training institutions nationwide, held on December 17th in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh – Head of the Faculty of Medicine, former Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Trung Kien – Head of Training at the Faculty of Medicine, former Vice Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - VNU Hanoi, along with experts, engaged in in-depth discussions on exam structure, professional competency standards, and assessment methods to ensure scientific, objective, and consistent medical training.

The topics discussed at the workshop are not only of academic significance but also serve as an important basis for training institutions to adjust their programs, teaching methods, and assessment, ensuring that medical students are equipped with sufficient professional competence, ethical conduct, and the ability to practice safely and effectively.
