Signing cooperation agreement with KVIT - career opportunities for DNU students at leading Korean enterprises

With an aim to expand internship and employment opportunities for students at some of the largest Korean companies, Dai Nam University (DNU) has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Korea-Vietnam IT Outsourcing Center (KVIT). Attending the Signing ceremony, there was the presence of Mr. Choi Joo Ho - General Director of Samsung, Mr. Park Jong-Kyuong - Consul General of the Korean Embassy, and Heads of the top Korean corporations in Vietnam.

Dai Nam University’s development strategy in the period 2023-2030 highly focuses on educational internationalization; maximizing practical experience while combining academic and practical elements of education at businesses (especially international businesses); expanding internship and career opportunities, ensuring a percentage of 100% graduates get hired in national and international businesses with good benefits and clear orientation development, etc. 

Accordingly, DNU has networked and signed a comprehensive training cooperation agreement with numerous multinational corporations. Through the signed agreement, DNU students will have various potential opportunities to do internships and work for  well-known corporations such as: Samsung Group, LG Electronics Group, Korean Association of SMEs, Delta E&C Vietnam Company, Heesung Vietnam Company, and Vietnam-Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA), etc.

The meeting and working session between Dai Nam University and the delegates of the Korean Embassy along with the chairmen of reputable Korean enterprises in Vietnam, as well as the Signing ceremony with KVIT on April 19th aimed at further promoting the strategy of expanding internship and career opportunities for DNU students.

With the signed agreement, KVIT would support and connect potential universities and academies in Korea with Dai Nam University on cooperation programs and student exchange programs; support IT training programs and promote cooperation with Korean IT companies and training centers. They will also develop and manage joint research projects between both parties.

In recent years, the close-knit relationship of trade and investment between Vietnam and Korea has opened up diverse career opportunities with high-income. According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University, for the purpose of implementing an effective and sustainable educational internationalization roadmap quickly, in the coming time, Dai Nam University would continue to establish and maintain a comprehensive network with international enterprises, universities and academies to bring the greatest career opportunities for students to study, practice, intern and work; and strengthen the position of Dai Nam University on both national and international education rankings.
