Grand concert to welcome new students of K19 - Dai Nam University: Awakening aspirations - Building the future

On the evening of October 15, 2025, Dai Nam University (DNU) was brilliant in orange and the autumn sky of Hanoi seemed to be lit up by thousands of lights, music and enthusiastic cheers. The Grand Concert to Welcome New Students of K19 with the theme "Awakening Aspirations - Creating the Future" became a cultural, artistic and emotional night worthy of Dai Nam University.

The event was elaborately organized with a modern outdoor stage, top-notch sound and lighting, and the participation of 1,400 staff, lecturers and more than 10,000 students, representing more than 22,000 students of the whole school. All of these combined to create a brilliant and attractive "youth party", where aspirations, knowledge and youth sublimate in every moment.

The Flame of Knowledge - The Sacred Symbol of Dai Nam

The most sacred moment of the festival was the Torch Relay and Lighting Ceremony of the Fire of Knowledge. The Dai Nam torch was passed from the hands of 19 outstanding students representing 19 generations to the Board of Directors and the University Council, before being personally lit by Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council, Founder of Dai Nam University.

The fire that flares up in the night sky is not only a symbol of knowledge and aspiration, but also a flame of faith, of a journey of nearly 20 years of lighting up the dream of Dai Nam – burning today and will continue to burn forever.

Message from the founder - Teacher's heart sent to the K19 student generation

In a quiet moment, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council sent a touching message to the new students of K19: "University is a journey of maturity and independence - where every difficulty is an opportunity to grow. Dai Nam University will be a launching pad for you to reach the future, where you not only learn to know, but also learn to do, to live and to shine."

Not only music, the festival is also a welcome to 8,000 new students of K19 - young people officially entering a new journey under the roof of Dai Nam University.

In particular, the parade of nearly 500 teachers and students in bright orange, modern laser show with the slogan "Study hard - Have fun - Make history!" created a vibrant, proud and inspiring picture.

The special moment of the night was when the choir of young teachers of Dai Nam University sang in harmony the song “Learning to Change” - true to the life philosophy of the DNU collective: “Today must be better than yesterday, and tomorrow will definitely be better than today.” It was a reminder of the spirit of continuous learning, dedication and growth - of both students and teachers of Dai Nam.

The night was filled with joy when 3 SH motorbikes and many valuable gifts were given to the lucky students of K19!

The Dai Nam stage exploded when Mono, Tien Tien and the professional DJ team appeared. Each bass beat, each laser light sweeping across the sky, each bright fireworks brought thousands of spectators through every range of emotions - from pride, emotion to bursting. It was a night of youth, of faith, of aspiration and pride bearing the name Dai Nam University.
