GenZ students need to live responsibly

Every day through newspapers or the internet, we often come across articles with sensational headlines related to the lifestyle of many new generation students such as male students addicted to games, using drugs, female students having abortions, etc. Revolving around these heartbreaking stories, there will be many analyses of the causes or consequences, but there is one thing, for sure, we need to discuss here, which is that GENZ STUDENTS NEED TO LIVE RESPONSIBLY. So what does it mean to live responsibly?
LIVE RESPONSIBLY FOR YOURSELF
The ancients said, “Everything depends on yourself,” so if you want to become a responsible person, you must first be responsible for yourself. Specifically, we need to be responsible for our health, words, actions, behaviors, and deeds. Staying up too late to watch movies, play games, or chat, or even to study is a manifestation of irresponsible living, so establish a reasonable and scientific schedule for eating, sleeping, and resting to have good physical health.
Besides, we need to be responsible for our own words because one word is more destructive than ten thousand cannons. "Think seven times before you speak", what is certain is to say, say the truth, and say positive things, avoid words that unintentionally hurt others or make them worry and insecure. If we do not take responsibility for our words, say whatever we like, the people around us will never take our words seriously, which means we cannot build our own reputation. Living responsibly is also shown through very small actions in life, daily habits that we gradually forget because they are too familiar. For example, being on time and keeping appointments is also living responsibly. That is responsibility for one's own work, responsibility for one's reputation.
In particular, as students, we need to be responsible in our studies. Knowledge is vast, not limited to the teacher's lectures. In studying, the task of each student is to pay attention, know how to research, explore, discover new things, learn must go hand in hand with practice, know how to apply the knowledge learned to life, to make life more meaningful. Do not learn by rote, learn perfunctorily, because that is the way of learning that does not know how to light the fire of knowledge and will gradually kill knowledge. We need to be self-controlled and self-aware in our studies, we must know how to self-regulate our behavior in our studies, keeping our character upright and honest is a good thing. For example, in a test, if we students cheat, that is irresponsible towards ourselves.
LIVE RESPONSIBLY TO THOSE AROUND US
We have many relationships, such as relationships with grandparents, parents, siblings, relatives, teachers, friends, neighbors. Everyone looks at us with so much love and hope. Believe in the daily progress, the hope of success. Believe in following every step, the hope of becoming an adult. We must be responsible for those relationships, preserve and protect them. Never destroy good relationships just because of your own irresponsibility. Live responsibly with your loved ones by always respecting them, being grateful to them, always loving them, and doing the best for them, not because of your own selfishness without thinking about the people around you. With every action we do, ask yourself, will this harm the people around us or anyone we meet in life? If so, definitely never do it.
RESPONSIBLE LIVING TO THE COMMUNITY AND SOCIETY
“Don't ask what the Fatherland has done for you, but ask what you have done for the Fatherland today.” Have we ever asked ourselves what our responsibility is to the community?
For the community and society, be a responsible person by living in gratitude and the desire to give and contribute. For example, in the context of the Covid outbreak, we need to be grateful to the government for taking timely measures to prevent Covid from spreading so that we can stay safe, in return, we have the responsibility to properly implement the government's directives to join hands to repel the pandemic.
Moreover, we are currently facing many pressing social issues such as environmental pollution or problems of the 4.0 era. GenZ students are mature, knowledgeable, and responsible people who need to know how to protect the environment, not litter, save energy such as water and electricity, limit the use of disposable plastic bags, use personal water bottles instead of drinking bottled water, etc. Living responsibly with the community and society is also shown in the civility when using social networks, such as being ready to spread positive messages to protect the community, protect the country, and being ready to press the "share" button to share with those in difficult circumstances so that they can receive more help. Absolutely do not rush to share articles that are anti-government.
In short, RESPONSIBILITY is a word that goes hand in hand with each of us in life. If we do not live with responsibility, we and our loved ones will never be happy. We connect with each other, exist and develop through relationships and bonds, that is responsibility. “Live each day as it comes!” is one of the good and very true sayings for each of us. Living responsibly is also living each day to the fullest, not wasting every minute and second, living meaningfully with everything and everyone that we are responsible for. I wish GenZ students always full of energy and enthusiasm to become responsible and successful people in the future.
