Sharing at the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Van Cuong - Member of the XV National Assembly, Former Vice President of the National Economics University emphasized: “Fintech is a valuable resource to develop the foundation of the digital economy. According to Statista data cited by Dr. Luong Thi Thu Hang (Institute of Banking and Finance, National Economics University): The size of Vietnam's Fintech market in 2014 was 0.8 billion USD and by 2024 it was 16.9 billion USD; expected to be 50 billion USD by 2029. This figure proves that Fintech is not only a trend but also an inevitable future, while posing challenges in terms of legal framework, management and high-quality human resources.
