Sharing at the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Van Cuong - Member of the XV National Assembly, Former Vice President of the National Economics University emphasized: “Fintech is a valuable resource to develop the foundation of the digital economy. Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Van Cuong - Member of the 15th National Assembly, Former Vice President of the National Economics University shared his opinion at the discussion session of the Workshop.
According to Statista data cited by Dr. Luong Thi Thu Hang (Institute of Banking and Finance, National Economics University): The size of Vietnam's Fintech market in 2014 was 0.8 billion USD and by 2024 it was 16.9 billion USD; expected to be 50 billion USD by 2029. This figure proves that Fintech is not only a trend but also an inevitable future, while posing challenges in terms of legal framework, management and high-quality human resources.
